jdodson.org the later years

This site has seen its share of changes over the years.  I first started blogging from University on software I wrote myself.  I later purchased this domain and forwarded to my University site but after I graduated I self hosted it.  The self hosting was straight out of my house off my DSL connection on various old hand-me-down Linux servers until I later upgraded to a 8 watt EeeBox.  Last few months I have been wondering the utility of hosting my own server and decided to retire it in favor of having other people worry about it.  People in this case being Google.  Google now hosts the sites web content seen here and I also have Google Apps managing the email portion.
